Since his arrival to Canada from his native Hungary in 1956, Tibor has been working on painting intermittently. Although he hadn't had formal education in the fine arts since his school years, he began to take his art seriously after his retirement from the oil business in 1986.

Tibor works primarily in oil, depicting mostly the scenery of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, as well as Europe.

He has participated in many group and solo shows, and his works continue to be exhibited at various Western Canadian galleries as well as Toronto, Ontario. His works are found in private and corporate collections across Canada, the USA and Europe.

Tibor has taught a number of workshops in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He is the former President of the Saskatchewan Alberta Visual Arts Guild (SAVAG) and is presently an active member of the Calgary Sketch Club and The Hungarian Visual Artists of Canada.
